Our History

In 1995, Jeff G. Waldron, founder and managing director of Wellspring Wealth Management, Ltd., decided to transition out of the aviation industry as a commercial pilot to continue his education in finance. He took courses for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, which included Financial Planning Process and Insurance, Investment Planning, Income Tax Planning, and Retirement and Employee Benefits Planning. Jeff became a registered representative and an investment advisor representative with LPL Financial.

For 13 years Jeff worked with Waldron Wealth Management, an independent, fee-based financial planning firm.  Flying under the wing of his brother John J. Waldron, Jeff learned the firm's comprehensive approach to managing wealth and to creating innovative strategies based on each client's unique situation.

When Jeff decided to establish his own wealth management firm, he chose to align with LPL Financial, the nation's largest independent broker/dealer.* His goal was to ensure his clients would continue to have access to objective advice and guidance, benefit from independent investment research and would not be limited by proprietary investment product platforms.

Jeff is a graduate of Geneva College, with a B.S. Degree in Business and Human Resource Management. He also has an Associates Degree in Aviation – Professional Piloting. He is a trained commercial pilot and a Certified Flight Instructor for Instrument and Multi-engine Airplane CFII-MEA training. While he is currently not instructing, Jeff equates many of the same aviation principles of preparing a flight plan to the detailed preparation involved in formulating a financial plan. Similar to the principles of aviating and navigating, Jeff guides clients to develop a plan which sets them on course toward pursuing their financial and lifestyle goals
